"Thanks for my life back”
There is no better gauge of success for us than our patients and what we can do for them.
"I am a 68 year-old self-employed excavating contractor. I depend on my physical abilities to do my work. In 2001 and 2008, I first injured my left and then my right rotator cuffs. Each time I finished my work season; I could not afford to not complete my contracts. I was extremely fortunate to discover Dr. John Rogerson. During all of the pre-surgery examinations and office visits, I soon realized the entire staff is a first class “operation,” the “A-team” in every aspect. It gives you great confidence that you are in good hands! Both surgeries went extremely well, as I expected. The nursing staff at Meriter Hospital is very caring, compassionate, and capable. Dr. Rogerson and his assistants are extremely capable and always concerned about the sterile conditions during surgery. The recovery from rotator cuff surgery is lots of work, but with the guidance of Renee Burke PA-C, and Joanna Hutchins PA-C, and plenty of physical therapy, I soon realized my wise choice. This January, 2012, it will be 10 years since my left shoulder surgery and 3 years since my right shoulder surgery. Not a day goes by that I do not appreciate what was done for me. I have full range of motion in both shoulders, and look forward to going to work every day. I not only found my body to be restored to 100% of what it was, but my self-esteem as well.
